A young doctor is assigned for her internship to a small hospital in Eerypur. Who she meets there and what happens thereafter, is what this film is all about.
Shilpa Srivastava is screenwriter and filmmaker based out of Mumbai, India. She began her career in films by assisting the master story-teller Anurag Kasyap in Gangs Of Wasseypur. She collaborated with Shlok Sharma as a screenwriter on his second feature after his critically acclaimed debut, Haraamkhor. This film, called Zoo, had its World Premier at the Busan International Film Festival in 2017.
Two Sisters And A Husband, which had its World Premier at the Tribeca Film Festival 2022, is also produced by Navin Shetty & Anurag Kashyap, is Shilpa’s second feature film as a screenwriter. It delves into a tabooed aspect of society.
She has directed her short film called Eerypur, and as she continues to collaborate with Shlok on his next feature, she is also working on her own debut feature film as a director.
